During childhood peanut (PN) and tree nut (TN) allergies are an emerging health issue. We realized a retrospective study in order to evaluate epidemiological and clinical features in children with PN and TN allergy. The study has been realized on patients visited in major regional ambulatories (Marche region, Italy). Data were collected with an on-line questionnaire. One hundred seventy two patients on 9351 (104 M, 68 F) resulted to be sensitized to PN and TN. Positive SPT could be either related to a clinical history of allergy (115 patients) or just sensitization (57 patients). Fifty four percent of patients had positive SPT for other foods, 67,3% had positive SPT for respiratory allergens. Most common symptoms were skin manifestations and Oral Allergic Syndrome (OAS). Anaphylaxis was referred in 31 patients on 115 reporting allergic reactions to PN and TN (26.9%).
